Lead Designer & Digital Marketing Associate


We are a thriving Marketing Agency located 15 minutes north of downtown Seattle, looking to bolster our creative digital marketing chops with a talented designer who understands the digital space. This person will collaborate daily with the Digital Marketing team and report to the Director of Creative Services to produce WordPress front-end designs and compelling digital assets for a varied client base. He/she will work hand-in-hand with the team to create visual assets and assist with the deployment of digital campaigns for our clients. They will also provide additional design support as needed – concepting and producing print ads, developing corporate identities for startups or established companies, and designing websites for potential clientele.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead graphic designer for all visual advertising and graphic design needs for the agency
    • Conceive and develop concepts independently and as part of a team
    • Work collaboratively with internal design and sales teams
    • Carry concepts through the entire development lifecycle
      • Research, exploration, refinement, production, implementation
    • Interpret client needs to produce effective visual creative
    • Effectively manage all aspects of the project work-cycle
      • Time management, budget tracking, time tracking, benchmark reviews
  • Assist in the development of visual creative projects
    • Be the point of contact on any project work that requires a designer’s eye
      • Print, digital, web, TV, etc.
    • Provide expertise, solutions, directions, options for staff as requested to develop and uphold brand/design quality standards
    • Have project management expertise and be very detail-oriented
    • Be an influential decision-maker in guiding design projects to their effective end
      • Develop identities/logos for companies
      • Create compelling digital and print advertising assets
      • Design for various platforms (social media, email, ads, website)
      • Lead design for projects and campaigns
      • Collaborate with Director of Creative services throughout the design process
    • Understand how to take a project to press and all the preparation necessary to produce print-ready artwork
  • Website, front-end Art Director and Designer
    • Site planning – collaborate with internal team and client to lay out effective wireframes
    • Translate business and functional needs through modern and compelling design
    • Produce functioning pages to conform to design specifications
    • WordPress site configuration, set up, and deployment
    • Work with external custom development partners to ensure design standards are met/adhered to
    • Explore the latest in templates, themes, and design trends to ensure solutions are current
  • Proficient in productivity tools (Microsoft Office/Google Suite), project management tools (Trello, FunctionFox) and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, XD)

Expertise that would be great to have:

  • Ability to troubleshoot website and development issues
  • Experience developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Photography or/and video skills
