Destination Marketing, a leading Marketing and Advertising agency in the Pacific Northwest with over 20 years experience working with clients across the United States and Canada, has an immediate opening for a Copywriter. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly creative copywriter to create fun and engaging advertising copy and develop content for our growing interactive / new media department.
Reports to: The candidate will work regularly with the Chief Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, (as well as independently), and reports to the Director of Studio Operations.
The primary function of this role is to collaborate with the Associate Creative Director to generate workable concepts and ideas, and work independently conducting research, writing copy and content for current and new clients.
This person will work in close partnership with staff to develop content (for websites), scripts (for radio and TV) and ad copy for a variety of clients. The candidate will also have strong proofreading and editing skills and be responsible for reviewing all print and electronic copy deliverables as part of the quality control process. In addition, this person will consult often with the account team to ensure internal creative and production expectations and deadlines are met.
