Hours: Weekdays, 8:00 – 5:00

Destination Marketing, a leading Marketing and Advertising agency in the Pacific Northwest with over 20 years experience working with clients across the United States and Canada, has an immediate opening for an experienced TV Editor. The TV Editor is responsible for editing TV commercials for multiple clients.

The ideal candidate for this position must be proficient with Adobe Premier, developing motion graphics within After Effects, as well as familiar with Adobe Audition, Photoshop and the rest of the Adobe Production Suite. Experience working on commercials for broadcast is essential. Individual should have understanding of video and audio signal path, ability to read waveform monitor and vector scope, while conforming spots to NTSC video and audio standards. Also, individual should be aware of HD postproduction standards and frame rates. Additionally, the candidate must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work within deadlines.

Ideal candidates for TV Editor will have the following qualifications:

  • Fast, efficient editing style
  • 3-D and 2D Title graphics creativity
  • Self-motivation and discipline
  • Ability to work independently, with or without a producer
  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects
  • Ability to work with scripts and take productions to the next level
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work within deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills in order to work with Account Directors and Clients
  • Professional appearance

Misc Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday and as needed

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience with non-linear editing
  • Proficient with Adobe Premier, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Knowledge and experience with both PC and Mac platforms
  • Experience with SD and HD footage
  • TV Commercial experience required
